Went for our daily walk today to see the flamigo's it was nt to cold only minus 16.
Got to mall got all the winter gear off and walked to see the birds and they were nt there someone had smashed the glass last night and they must have moved them dont know when they will be back.
We still had a good time saoirse walks a lot more now than she used to its actually hard to get her back in the pram . We called into london drugs got some choc and a paper i gave saoirse a flake to hold as we waited in the line it was long which is unsual for early on a monday i got talking to a woman about how back in our day everything closed christmas eve and did nt open to day after boxing day so if you ran out to bad. I was nt paying attention to saoirse she was in my arm quite then i looked and she had chewed the paper off the flake and her face was covered with chocolate i took it off her and she screamed people looked but its my daughter and i make the choice's it had to be paid first and it was a mess.Its funny i walk her every day and get some look's sometimes as if to say why you got a child out in the cold .I was walking back last week when a man said to me you walk every day and he then said its funny north americians think we are weird because we take our children out to sleep during the winter .he said they need to climitize to the cold as it builds them up and i agree with him well i would nt sleep out with saoirse but if she's rugged up she can get used to the cold weather after all she live's in canada and the schools only keep the kids indoors if the temp drops to minus 20 with windchill . back home we would be sent home that cold .
