phone booth attacked for making calls
seems my home town is in the news there was a explosion in a phone box in whinny hill it happened during the night .
Either someone is testing there new skills before a more damaging attack or someone panicked taking it somewhere but either way its a worrying thing the bombs should be gone from northern ireland but some still have the skills . the bomb squad was there i have seen them in action a few times the last one was probably the funniest i was living in killcooley in bangor.
i was walking to the shops and they were there everyone was watching which i find strange why do you watch when theres a bomb supposed to be there,it was inside a wheelie bin it was a keg after about an hour it was declared safe .Seems that someone saw the keg in the bin and because the head of the uvf in the area lived nearbye they assumed it was a bomb aimed at him.But it turned out that someone had stolen a keg of beer and saw the peelers so chucked it in there so as not to get caught at least it kept us amused for a while.
