The Catholic priest who witnessed IRA decommissioning has compared the unionist community to Nazis for their treatment of Catholics in the past
now you wonder if this man can be trusted with hateful words like that .Fr Reid is a long-time confidant of Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams.
now is there any wonder that the unionists distrust this man he's a preist why is he stirring up hate which he will with words like that the unionist and the protestant people of northern ireland will be wondering if they will be welcome in a united ireland and who can blame them. Victims repesentive william frazer walked out he stated that
"I did fly off the handle but I could not sit there and allow him to accuse the unionist people of persecuting the Roman Catholic community for the last 60 years. That is far from the truth," he said.
"That is not to say Catholics have not suffered but so have the Protestant community.
"He was wrong and bitter and his republican attitude came out when he called us Nazis."

Reid is right. Since the British colonists started to occupy Irish lands in the north of Ireland in the 1600's, they have been treating the indigenous Irish Catholics as less than human. If anything, the unionists have been worse than Nazis since Jews are not indigenous to Germany (or any other part of Europe) but Irish Catholics are indigenous to Ireland.
reid is nowhere right he's a bitter man who is supposed to be a priest.to label the whole unionist community is wrong
As a priest he is supposed to tell the truth and the truth is that British colonists have oppressed the indigenous Irish of the north of Ireland for centuries.
but im from the north and ive suffered at the hands of the ira inla should i say all natinalists are to blame and dont forget the the invading enlish brought religion to ireland.then the irish monks spread it throughout the world.his claims liking me to a nazi are wrong and im outraged and i dont live in northern ireland any more think how upsetting for the people there who never got involved in killing.irish people came from scotland about 6ooo b.c
the celts arrived in 400 b.c from the region between the rhine and the danube they arrived with swords made of iron and soon conqured the other people of the land and divided the country into 150 small communities
but im from the north and ive suffered at the hands of the ira
If you are a unionist then your "suffering" was caused by your unjust presence in Ireland.
the celts arrived in 400 b.c from the region between the rhine and the danube they arrived with swords made of iron and soon conqured the other people of the land and divided the country into 150 small communities
Wrong. Check out this article:
More About Genes - The Irish Really are a race apart
are you for real my unjust presence my name is gaelic so whats your point the fact is scots or people from that land came to ireland first then the celts arrived maybe they bread with the locals to produce the gene you are talking about.so how can i be wrong when history says that the celts invaded ireland after it had been settled so the celts are the invaders in your case so who has the right.
The Celts never invaded Ireland which is why no one has ever been able to find any archaeological evidence for such an invasion. The indigenous Irish Catholic population are descended from people who have lived in Ireland for many thousands of years.
yes and they moved from scotland so orginelly they came from scotland and landed in the place now called larne.and then a few thousand years later the celts arrived or invaded and made ireland what it is today the made the five counties or provinces which later became 4 so a lot of irish are decended from celts who mixed there blood with the people the took the island from
p.s so are many of the protestant people
