but its been postponed due to next weeks rosh hashanah observances.But a lawyer for a military intelligence officer who was expected to appear said the defence department,s rufusal to allow such testimony not the jewish hoilday was the reason for the delay it sounds better than the truth,Which is that the dod is not co-operative.it appears lt-col anthony shaffer,who has said the unit used data-mining to link ringleader Mohamed atta and three others to al-qaida more than a year before the sept 11 2001 terrorist attacks.it seem that they think that the u.s public might be upset to know that a covert army mission on home soil. the pentagon has acknowledged that employees recall seeing an intelligence chart identifying atta as a terrorist before the attacks.But they said none have been able to find a copy of it you would think national security would have been more important than revelling their covert operations they might have been blasted but today the towers could still be standing.
